Sivepo - Plant-tray
Sivepo represents the interests of all dutch plantauctions and provides optimization of logistics and packaging. Some of the in-use plant-trays do not function optimally. The loading of the tray is in practice too high, so many trays fail.
Plato product consultants have been asked to optimize one of the most commonly used trays. A different configuration of cavities and cams have succeeded in a tray which can carry more weight, while less material is applied. This leads to considerable material saveings in combination with less damage in the chain. The trays are made through the thermoforming of PS.
